Yeah i thought i,d take the pics from a different perspective than the usaul stand and click.I must admit its nice going out to the shed and having to pick which one to ride!
Here is my 1964
And my 1942
Just finished putting this 61 together a couple of weeks ago.Imported the engine and gear box over from Arizona which arrived in May,the 61 drop saddle frame i,ve had since the early 80s and was imported into Aust from South Africa(the story i got told was it was an ex South African police bike!)The rear guard is an FLH item which i trimmed and turned around.Gear box is 1946 with later kicker cover fitted.
Left side of bike.Front brake is a Brembo i've been running on the Shovel for 20 od yrs, primary is Paugcho tins and Primo belt, also added Cycle Electric regulator.
1980 wideglide
63 FLH
I think I'm finished? Runs like a dream, 2500km on it with the biggest smile you could imagine! These bikes are something else.
That's fucken nice Matt. Good to see an old stocker still out and about.
Cheers
