yup i need a pre 70 sporty prefer a basket case it will be built as a racebike for pre 70's raceing
so dont want a top condition bike as it will not look original when finnished ....
looking at rearset's changing front forks clip on's solo seat .....
my mate who has raced bikes for years ,is going to help me with the build .so if ya got something let me know
hi. i've raced classic bikes over the years & help some people out with there classic racing sportys e.g. 1959 stroker/methonal burner outfit, at the moment iam doing the engine for a 1968 xlch for classic racing class , if you go pre 1972 it can race in the post classic class you will be up against honda/4s etc but if you find a 1968 xlch or earlier she can go in pre 1963 classic class as long as the motor has the early tin type pri with no electric start housing as the same as early a 1963 because they will let it run in that class because the only thing differant is the engine number you will be more in the same type of bike class in classic than post classic & more of the same type of bikes, i.ve been around cast iron sportys for a while if you need any help only too glad to share some info/help ,
i do have a 1952 to 1970 frame stock , swingingarm , back wheel & maybe some tripple trees & taper roller bearing steering kits also have fibre glass moulds for norton manx tank & tail peice + G50 matchless tailpeice , cheers sporty bob
hi, i have a few nic names , like AXE because i use to ride a chopper in 1975 -6 & my last name is Axisa , then there is sporty bob , thats later in the 80's , when in the fraser twin sport team they nic named me again head job bob because i use to do the race team heads & still do for frasers & as a rider for the fraser S/Eagle drag team so far , but anyway i know 3 wombats they mainly eats roots & leaves what wombat do you know ?
