A few mods since last posted a picture of my RK here. 12" apes added & I decided to remove a little chrome. New mirrors & levers added with the 'edge cut' theme. Not genuine HD but, for the price paid they seem pretty solid. New front fender skirt to replace my ratty torn one & a layback licence plate on order. Removed the luggage rack & rear pillion seat; I really like the resulting look. Fitted a Freedom Performance Union 2 into 1 that I got from Fatbat; much sweating & swearing but, finally got it fitted up. Nice deep growly sound when you get on the throttle but, quiet enough at steady revs to not be annoying. More to come once the wallet recovers a bit.

Test rode an Ultra a couple of weeks ago and here's the result.

Compared it against a 2013 Ultra Limited that I rode to Sturgis last year and the Rushmore is far better on power, handling and balance.

Markwoumla, try the fork leg deflectors, available as a genuine part. They fix the updraft under the fairing that creates the buffeting. I can now ride my '15 streetglide with the stock 2" 'screen' without buffeting. 

Definitly go the wind deflectors mate. Had them on two bikes now and swear by them.

Anyone got one of these the want to sell...

Had mine powder coated, sorta makes 'em disappear a bit. I would never ride without them on . They make the world of difference.
