HD will not sell you any CVO bits for your bike like paintwork unless it was an original CVO. Its to stop replica bikes being offered as real CVO.
When the new models are released to the dealers, there is an option for Dealers to order a set number of Factory Custom painted models. These come into the country as Aussie complianced brand new bikes already painted. I believe only 4 of this colour made it into SA, not sure about other states.
