Pricing as of 2009, rear $1419.24 front $1869.35 no rotors. I've been running Me 880 Marathon from Metzeler not included in price, you would also have to include freight and fitting.

Thanks paulybronco, yes definantly created the look I was after with the tubed frontend. But don't overlook the other advantages of changing to alloy wheels, the unsprung weight is dramatically different from stock, I don't have the weights to give you but I rember the diffeance in picking the two up side by side, it was huge. I do belive thier is a performance and handling benefit to consider.

pauly pauly pauly. you asked him the same question in January
    this is the response

Stock header. 6" cat section cut out . Butterfly valve section out out. Left hand outlet removed and plated over. Internal rear header pipe inside collector trimmed. That brought the muffler forward about 8". Middle heat shield shortened accordingly.

Muffler is an old Screamin eagle touring slip on with an after market straight thru wrapped baffle. Rear shortened to where the stock hanger brackets where originally .

All this was made up from old bits and pieces that were in good condition I had in the shed and just a bit of an experiment to fill in time.

Will get her re dyno'ed and to compare with the old FM 2-1-2 headers and mufflers I had on before and if it goes OK , will probably leave on.

I reckon the end product looks just like a purchased system.

Failing that , I'll go the LSR 2-1 route or maybe even some Samson powerflo's 2-1's. Contacted D&D as have used their 2-1's before but they were'nt interested in running up some shortened headers for me.

The muffler needs to be bracket mounted at the back of gearbox to run baggerless without the ugly bag rails being on display.

2012 FLHX Street Glide soon to be moved on and be replaced by 2014 FLHX Street Glide. Why change models when this is the bike made for me :) Apart from the shit you can see i've spent $2200 on Racetech suspension to make the bike handle as it should (take note Harley R&D) Thundermax ECU. Was about to go SE120R option but during the process had a look at the Rushmore Project and decided to upgrade 1st. Will be going Stage 4 once i take delivery of new bike which unfortunatley will be December due to my choice of colour (Big Blue Pearl) not being available to this time...........
