Ya got me there Squid ... I was probably cheating a bit and looking at your pics section and seeing your other big Ape Hangers ... cool to see you do most of your own work . I was thinking
more along the lines that you still have to buy the gear in the first place from someone ...

When the dollar was better than it is now I got a lot of my stuff from over seas , so much
cheaper then ... I always try and buy here first but when you can save nearly half price AFTER shipping cost as well then it is just crazy to buy local .

Have fun riding the beast when you get back from your long shift hours , Cheers .

Hey Squid , have ya found any decent USA sites worth recommending , I know there are heaps just some are more reliable than others ... I had Very good service from M & M out of Ohio ...

I think they have a sister site here in Australia called Griffin Cycles , pretty sure they are or were one of this sites sponsors ... your not wrong about how dear some stuff here is

one thing I have always done is buy local if possible even at times when slightly dearer but when at times you can save literally hundreds of dollars then like you say

you have to think of your self first ... happy customising .

Welcome to the world of Harleys ... as a ex Jap bike rider myself the biggest advice I can offer is try very hard to forget about the ... Braking ... Handling ...

and acceleration qualities of what ever Sport bike you used to ride ...

Because your Harley will Never come close , Lol ... what you do get is something that is to hard to explain and of course something you can never have on a Jappa ,

so enjoy the Harley life style and maybe leave your wallet at home when visiting the local dealer because these things are not cheap , Lol .
