My 2012 Standard that's not so standard....
Well she finally arrived, and I love the look, but as usual with any Harley I have only just started with the mods. Only minor ones so far, with the obvious ones being the V&H duals with Stage 1 SE air filter. My big dilema is to upgrade to a 110 CI or leave it as standard(ish) due to it being a 110th Anv model. My other quandry is that I am thinking about changing to 9 or 13 spoke rims or do I change to stainless steel spokes to retain the "Classic" look. Opinions please ladies and gents.

Hey Toe Cutter, bike looks really good. Picked up my slim a few weeks back. Have you lowered the back, if so how much? HD dealer (Frasers) in Perth were supposed to lower mine by 1" as part of delivery but said they couldn't get the lowering bolts to fit - still looking into it. If you've lowered it, how much did you drop it, how did you do it and are you scraping the boards much?

My Softail after doing a S&S 106 kit , Welding truing and balancing the crank, gear drive cams, new black gearbox case , painting the cases , S&S rocker boxes and a whole lot of other internal mods. I've just got to run it in and get it set up on the Dyno.
Hey FreeBeer , those Freedom Shortys look great ... how have you found them performance and noise wise .
Someone told me that the guy from Freedom actully used to be with Vance & Hines , do you know if that is right ... i reckon the freedoms being a couple of inches longer than V & H own shortys and being bigger in dia.makes them ideal for Softails .
Did you get them here in Australia or get them brought in ... are they comparable in price to some of the other brands .
