have fitted Ohlins HD215's, the bike is a canyon carver now. No more scraping pegs.

Worth the $$$$ and sold the stock shocks for a good price.

Well done brash. I'm keen to see a pic from side on to see how high your bike is jacked up.
Had time to give it a good ride and report on the cost/benefit?

    Cheers lads,

Exhaust is Bassani Road Rage 3.

Shocks are custom built by Motorcycle Mayhem in Miami, Howard is the Ohlins guru and I spoke to him for a long time about my intended plans/purpose for the bike and came up with a custom combo that is based around the HD215 shock. It's all valved and sprung for my weight with a few additional extras. Even with a full custom setup I saved around $500 then buying the shocks from the Ohlins Aus dealers, and that would be a stock spring stock valving setup.

They are 13 3/8' long, can be adjusted +5 -5mm from that length via a threaded adjuster. This was very useful because a lot of Dyna's have geometry issues even from standard with engine alignment, so you can actually correct the misalignment at the shock. I had to use about 1mm longer on the right side to have everything square.

As far as riding goes, I slapped them on then did the usual lap around the streets to check no clunks or interference with the pipe and all was good, been too busy to give them a proper go (and double demerits I cant be trusted)

Once I give them a proper ride I'll put a report up in the product review section.

I just figured you sold the ex wife (or husbands) WRX and bought a Harley with the proceeds.

Am I alone in thinking that?
