Yep thats the one. Jeff's bikes are always something else, I liked the painted velocity stack on that FCR carb is cool. Any plans to imitate on yours?

If you plan to drop $ into her and make it something special like Jeff's with Beringer's, box swing arm and rear mounts, etc, I'd like to see it in person, not many FXR's done up nicely in Aus.

A box swing arm is definitely on the cards, and will likely happen when I powdercoat the frame.

The FXR uses ancient cleve block swingarm bushings, which can get flexy. Mine are perfect at the moment because its all fresh, but when I eventually strip it all, they'll be replaced with the upgraded spherical units.

Spherical bearings kits are around $400 USD, alloy swingarms are $1000 and come with the spherical bearings haha.

We'll see how it all goes. Im tossing up selling other bikes to fund more gucci for this bike, but I like all of my bikes haha

Just finished the single seat conversion on my Fat Bob and I'm pretty pleased with the result. The seat is Mustang (with removable backrest) and the rack is Motherwell. Next on the to-do list is to lose the rear pegs and get a swing arm bag.

Something I wasn't happy about, though, was the rubbing that the stock seat did on the fender and lower fuel tank -- bit poor from HD.

    Good lookin dynas there.

Jfe, bet you like that mustang seat. They are comfy as when you put the back rest on too aye. I've had a couple of them before and if you think the back rest is pushing you just a wee bit too far forward, they sell an offset back rest pole which is cheap and puts me just right. Keep it in mind.

Looking at more changes... turning more chrome into black.

All this plus the fender struts are going in for powdercoating. Standard HD is gloss-black, but I was thinking either matt-black or the HD-wrinkle-black

That is one sweet Wide Glide. Is the rear pillion going to sit a bit high or is it just the pics? The red colour is something special...

Grabbed a spare set of shocks to play around with, 11in progressives. Other pic is with the 14in Adjustables.

Its out of rego now so its time to pull some bits off and  get them powdercoated black.

You like doing a bit of fast cornering John? You'd probably see off all those Jappo naked bits of shit with those 14" ones on.

Happy for any suggestions and alternatives for the rear guard! Would love to be able to run the tall shocks and not have it look so funky!

option on the link above looks good hut not helpful if you want to take the other half with you.

another option would be the corbin tail/seat set up though a little pricey. again single seat though

I'm pleased to be rejoining the dyna ranks.

Pick this next week. I have a decent list of things to do and can't wait to start.
