I purchased the Hacker pipe from the internet site http://www.hackercustomexhaust.com/products/index.php I wanted a good pipe that would get better with the mods I have in mind( head flowed and a cam) and was in chrome. I wasn't really worried too much about noise .I emailed and Ronnie Hacker answered promptly, one query I had was the model year on the web site being a couple of years old. It was all really easy, The pipe was shipped within a week or so of getting the order, VERY well packaged, Had to cut about 5 mm off the collector as it was too long for my frame. Mounting bracket with the muffler attached didn't line up with gear box holes. Went on like a whingeing ex wife and sounds choice. Very impressed, I wouldn't hesitate to deal with the company again. Bout the only downer was the exchange rate and shipping costs, all up It was a tad over $1400 landed at my door. Im happy

Sold my much loved 883 that I managed to get looking pretty damn cool and bought a 96cu FXDL. After a lot of polishing, it's now time to open the wallet and get this thing looking cool!

Looking to first throw some 8" risers and tracker bars, tidy up the rear end with some cleaner indicator and licence plate mounting (so I can still run the HD detachable saddlebags it came with), black powdercoat on the wheels, solo seat for around town, an exposed air cleaner and maybe a 2-1 exhaust... then see how we are looking after that dollar wise for an Arlen Ness front fairing. 1584cc certainly has a bit more poke than 883cc!

Thanks for the kind words mate, the Low Rider is very stock compared to some of the awesome rides on here, hopefully get it looking a bit different when money allows. For now I'm still in the honeymoon period just riding it wherever and whenever I can. Nothing better after a long day at work to even have a short spin, best therapy ever. Cheers

It's a Danny grey big butt crack seat - yes that's what it's called and it's great - did 400 hundred ks in day and felt fresh as when finished
