Here's my 2001 Dyna Super Glide Sport, before and after. I flew over to Adelaide to purchase it and rode it back the same day, Andy from AA Custom cycles stripped it down and went about putting it back together with alot of different parts and extras.

Alot of the bike has been powdercoated, new bars, intake and exhaust, brand new and original speedo and tacho, all the tins were resprayed. In my opinion the best and most unique looking Dyna around, set up to ride hard, wheels are getting powdercoard and waiting on a set of Progressive Suspension 970 series rear shocks to arrive, will be 13.5 in length so the rear will be nicely lifted.

All I did was have the vision and source the parts I researched and knew I wanted, full credit goes to Andy for working his magic and making it all happen.

Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions on it and before I hear a Sons Of Anarchy reference, know your shit and the history of bikes set up like this and why. Cheers.

Hey Spartan Wolf, nice ride man. Looks different! Give us some insight into the reasoning behind that particular style? What led you to the hand guards? Cheers

Thanks mate, the reasoning is basically due to wanting to ride hard and compfortable, thats why I like the mids, feel more in control then with forwards, the bars the most compfortable I have ridden with and they are high and narrow so I clear peoples mirrors easily when I have to split lanes. The fairing take alot of wind and rain off the chest, and the  all black makes keeping it clean easier and alos helps in being discreet and blending in more, all black, no distinguishing features.

After riding a a lowered Sportster I really didnt enjoy the low ground clearence in corners and ober speed humps.

I really like the look of the hand guards but practically I chose to run them after catching a rock in the knuckle one day while riding, they are also good in winter with keep the wind of my hands and also if i were to clip a mirror while lane filtering i'd rather the mirror bounce of the guard rather than my hand.

Got out for a bit of pedal then had some issues. This weird white shit made things really interesting.

That is a great photo , had a similar thing happen in Canada but we were well prepared and the heated grips on the ultra were on high most the day!
