    Must say i'am getting a bit excited bout having stage 4 kit fitted. Good story Shingles.

    Hey lucky, seat of the pants is everything sometimes highest dyno figure doesn't mean quickest 1/4 mile time I know this from previous rides.Whats your thoughts on the s/e stage 4?

    s/e lifters ordered this morning, premium oil cooler in a couple months.

    Now I know why ya name is lucky lol, Fark if I only had that much time to ride bloke.

    just seen the stage iv thread more time on the computer wife's gunna think I'm on the porn sites haha guess I am porn of the Harley kind haha.

    Hilly, the tyres look like they have a very low profile ?

    My 2014 street bob special edition, all I've done so far is replaced the pillion seat with a single and removed the reflectors off the wheel guard and forks which I think has tidyed it up abit, what are people thoughts on what exhaust would look sweet?

    Dude my personal choice for pipes would be V&H SHORT SHOTS WITH A BAFFLE.but thats a personal thing i dont like the type that blow gravel all over the guy behind you that so many people have.

    get ride of your brake pads they leave metal fillings over your bike and corode it.next do somrthing to the shocks standard are shit such a nice bike why do harley put the worst shocks on it .

    nice bike i had no complaints apart from the above. ENJOY IT.

    V&H long shots not short. They have better power, deeper, crackly Harley sound. Have followed shorts and longs glad I went longs and listened to the bloke at the shop as I was looking at getting the shorts.

    Another option for the V&H too is the black looks good against the black engine on the Bob! Plus it not normal, but in the end its your bike your look and no one will have a bike like yours thats the best bit.

    Thanks guys, this is my first harley so it's all new to me making mods on it, I was looking at V&H big shots but would like to hear some in person, and I have looked at the black exhausts but I don't want to get to carried away and black everything out, abit of chrome throughout looks sweet

    Hi sparky, nice ride Mate.

    for what it's worth, don't be in a hurry to spend your hard earned cash, it's worth the time to do the research into what you are really after.

    First ya gotta make up your mind on whether it's performance or " looks " that you want,,,, or both.

    You've already indicated that you have taste, so believe in yourself and remember the other factor that goes along for the ride,,, " individuality "

    Sparky, just be aware most V&H systems won't make more power (probably less) over what Hilly has suggested.
    My opinion only, V&H usually sound like crap as well. Their big radius 2-1 make decent power, don't deafen you, and sound good. Look good in black too.
    Don't forget, there are other exhaust manufacturers as well.

    Hi Fella`s,

    Finally getting my FXDC a little closer to being how i want it to be.

    Got a 21" wheel on there with some RSD gear as well.

    Next up `d like to swap out the aircleaner and have some black 11" progressive shocks ready to go on as well.

    Surprisingly this setup is super comfortable on longer rides.

    Very nice mate - I like the flush mount fuel cap & gauge housing, next on my list for the FatBob - where have you hidden your indicators?

    Mate just a thought,i hated that bit of shit vynel on the tank i replaced mine with a chrome piece with the black tank looks awsome.

    I am 99% sure the stock shocks were 12",     these new Progressive`s are 11"

    They are for looks only thats for sure as the 11" shocks being a lot stiffer,

    I think an Air Ride setup will be the way to go,   but for the time being the 11" shocks will do the job.

    one way to guarantee zero cornering performance and worn through wiring under guard. been down that road. looks good and thats all. looks like them long shots wont last long either.

    Does look good though, 21 inch rims are for softails. LOL

    yep is true i had stg 1 and rush slip on mufflers worked perfect heaps tourque down low and u could feel it as spun tyre plenty times jus givin that bit more then usein clutch could actually get wheel liftin a bit at front ,had a good sound but only came in when up it ,an here i goes i want it 2 be aharley sound like one an me mate has duece with srtoked motor an when that starts it draws peoples heads u just watch everybody turn an look wat da he has pipes hooker troublemakers & they dont make them anymore ,i wonder y and his bike not fuel injected model either an i saz 2 myself if im gunna hav harley then i want that sound nothin less ,so go shop lets get pipes on this that work an best 4 sound & overall runing coz i no i will lose power an touque yes u will was  reply ,but when u come back an do engine upgrade uve allready got pipes an youll ride 4 a bit an go whats next ,now i really didnt want 2 spend money buildin engine up an  that  ,now i had 2 ride 50ks in an outa town every time i rode was able 2 jus let lose had long strates big flowin bends tite triky bends more long strates and it sounded good but was like somebody sucked its guts out or sumthin i had pinned flat k after k barley hit 190 an lacked off da line grunt ya had ta rev it more an use clutch to try an launch with gusto as befores setup just shit all over it,it felt weak i felt unhappy ive owned owned 50 plus bikes an dis my last so went saw shop an said wat can i do they no that i ride hard built in me even though had bad leg looks at tyres edges humm yep well lets look at stages available in screaming eagle book then it was well ya got 1 already lets go stg 2 started waftin over figures next is 3 then iv he said u go home think about it rode it flat out home an got off an went fuk it i want da stg 4 still nothin like jappas i had were could 1 wheel on m1 but this is a different thing and era an he who hesitates is lost ,had da money ,y spend coupla grand gettin dis stage den dat stage fuk that thats half a bike ,go da whole hog strate up coz wen he said wen ya get sick of stg 2 then 3  i saz not dis black duck fuk dat that does not make economical sense in any ones lingo wat ya im gunna be scared of the added power last bike hyabusa im a scratcher enduro bike nut owned that many bikes i cant even remember them ,and destroyed many but now i want that thunder an lightnen and aggressive tourque that this bike should have when sold now can u arrange this 4 me please ,ill ring an see said man an  was lucky i sold u those pipes coz they match mods and have been designed an bench tested with 103syg iv intensivly so new tuner has data in sert already an we buy other sert tuner off u 350 ok an it was then wen first rode thats what these pipes needed all along ,the best part of whole changin engine into an unknown wat if this or that happens was reasurred by MORGAN & WACKER was we have done this many times an all pieces used pipes and engine are proven by screaming eagle and will tune and runn properly and wont self destruck ,if u go mixin this with that an that with this it is not what we would prefer to do and will be mostly impossible 2 tune as mapping can certainly giv problems ,not sayin ya cant do it but youll b on dyno a lot and dats not cheap ,i said fuk dat i dont even like dyno's full stop ,i said you have complete control and ive done my research read heaps about yoddles cant make bike work ,nah u build it ill try an brake it as best i can ,just a short story as sitin bak avin a few ,main emphisis here was i wanted it right from the word go and i picked a proven product and reputable company 2 let touch my bike not just somebody who nows somebody sorta shit ,seen wat happens down that road ,coz itll cost ya ive seen da builder an da damage done gone gone gone ,well that worked out well mate a woops best jus slipp away quietly now SHINGLES

    Cheers Big Fella,

    The LED headlamp is the HD daymaker,   works pretty well,   has a narrow beam though and you do lose some width to the beam when compared to the stock headlamp.

    The seat is the RSD Enzo solo seat,   is pretty comfortable and sits you back about an inch from stock,  it uses the middle mounting hole in the fender too.
