Just got a respray. Thought there were enough black Harley's on the road so went with something different......no offense to all you black Harley owners ;)

I'm obviously not superstitious and I like the old ex-military look.

    Nice paintjob Preacher Dan

I'm thinking of a respray also, nothing fancy, just a plain (probably flat) colour. What sort of $$$ did a respray cost if you dont mind me asking?

     Thanks for the complements blokes.

Steve, sorry mate but I've got no idea how much it would cost as this was done for free! Just one of the many benefits of having lots of good mates (one who happens to own a smash repair/spray shop) :)

i stripped it and put it back together after it was done to save him some labor time.

If I were to gues I'd say around $600 ??? I'm sure others here would know for sure.

     Thanks 13bob,

pipes are Bub's "Straightaways". They were on the bike when I bought it from the US through Choppaweeza.

I've not seen a set on any bike here in Oz yet and they sound unreal! Just like a Harley should. It really rips too for a basic stage 1 96"!

Very nice Preacher Dan. I agree, those pipes look shit hot. Do you have plans for the strip that goes over the battery cover?

Yes Bob, I took it off and sprayed it gloss black. Looks much better now, however, I've just ordered a leather battery cover bag that will bolt on and replace it so it won't stay there long. Bag is coming from Bad&G.

    here's some different angles.

Thanks for the info Hmmm. Sounds like too much messing around for my liking. Think ill wait till someone decides to make one in 17" size.....although that could be a long wait :)

Preacher your bike looks shit hot. Nothing against black harley owners but its good too see someone go against the grain and go with something different.

My thoughts exactly Chopz. Thanks for the compliment. Now I just need to fix the ride. Did a big day all around Oberon yesterday and discovered my suspension is far below par for my style of riding.... But, like most things....time and money is needed :)

My three week old 2013 Street Bob. Only mod so far is the V&H slip-ons. I'm building this one to look more like the styling of a Softail Slim, but with the handling of the Dyna (http://www.hdforums.com.au/Default.aspx?tabid=71&forumid=4&postid=497077&view=topic)

if you want some cheap mods, polish up your disc's ( there stainless so the polish up well , I just made a quick jig so i could lay them down used a sanding disc for the grinder ( to get rid of the hash lines , ones the lines are out use wet and dry and then purple polish or another type of metail polish. they come up sweet.
