Took the bike over to Northside Motorcycles to get the electrical drain problem looked at. Ended up being a wire that runs via the regulator and to the headlight had worn though and fucked everything up. Was a cheap fix, and didn't need to buy the new reg at Coffs.
Will be having all work done to my bike at Northside m/cycles, always good service.
PS. New tyre goes on tomorrow for you naggers!

Yep Hip...it pays to take a gander... I was gettin pretty pissed off that my battery tender that I paid $90.00 for wasn't doing it's job..(the Big fella and Sporty Rob had to push me twice a couple of weeks back) so anyway, I jumped on the bike to move it so's to get to the cartons and the BASTARD was flat again...WOT THE?????? so I stripped the seat and covers off and start dicking around checking connections and looking at the neg terminal I see the thread to the bolt holding the eyelets onto the terminal...*thinks to self....that's odd* so I give it a wiggle and buggar me if it's not loose. So i undo it with fingers...(yep..real loose) and pull the battery out of it's cradle....HUH....the lead had melted off the top of the thread canal...how is this possible?? but certainly made sense as to how I could actually see thread from the bolt. OK..not living in bizzaro world but it was in fact...melted thru...recognoiter done...I bolted the bastard back up tight on neg and pos...and closed my eyes (to sheild me retna's from exploding battery pieces) and hit the starter button...5 by 5 good sirs......we have SOUND!!!
I was grumblin to meself all throu these movements thinking I'd need to actually spend money on the motor or some electrical parts but it was nought but a loose connection.....* doing snoopy happy dance*
