I'd be grateful if anyone has any comments about Doc Hogs in Ringwood Victoria ? Have always had my bike serviced at Peter Stevens, but they sure know how to charge. Anyone used Doc Hogs and if so, what do you think?

Thanks for the vote of confidence for Doc Hogs. Have booked my Sporty in there for service next week. 

Alison let us know how much your service cost ,i would like to get an idea between of the difference between doc hogs and peter stephens.

Had my 1200 Sporty serviced yesterday. Runs nice and smooth. Doc Hogs guys were great, and less than half the cost of what Peter Stevens quoted me for 40,000km service. PS= $620.00 Doc Hogs= $250.00 Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I have nothing but good things to say about doc hogs in ringwood, have always been helpful with parts and advice..if he cant do it..it cant be done!! True legend of a bloke.

Also, after I had my recent run in with the boys in blue over non complying pipes, they were both helpful and sympathetic to my cause when I needed a shoulder to cry on and an ear or 2 to rant about my $300 fine!!!

They will be moving out of Ringwood to larger workshop in...um Bayswater or Boronia or ...somewhere like that, maybe towards the end of the year John said. Very inconvienient of them considering their current shop is round the corner form where I work. Bugger.

John helped me out with a loaner set of compliant pipes and indicators to get my bike RW and pointed me in the direction of a decent RWC centre. Then a couple of weeks later I needed a new circlip and pin for my clutch lever he just handed it over free of charge. Last week I picked up a brand new clutch cable from him and that was well priced and in stock.

But in saying that I haven't had any mechanical worked done by them.

Info on where Doc Hogs has moved to - 1/3 POWER RD, BAYSWATER, Tel: 9729 2304.  The new shop looks awesome, definitely worth a visit to see John & Blu.  The quality & standard of their work is definitely one of the best around
