All i know is that when the stage 2 kit was fitted...that they done ECM callibration. Shall ring them later & ask. When dyno tuned with power commander...they said that compression was 175-185 psi & said might be too high. They feel that the ignition timing should be set less aggresive. Can timing alter after being done. I'm no bike mechanic & the mechanic that done my stage 2 kit & ECM callibration suggested to try the octane boost. But that doesn't actually fix the problem completely hey. At present i have done 60'000 km's on bike. Pings with out power commander connected also. Can't really recall when pinging started. Before power commander added though i think.

Fuck. Went for ride the other day. Added octane boost high performance to tank. Bike just seems to have this tinny shit sound all the time when accelerate now. Hard to explain when ya not riding it yaself. But at full throttle was lucky to just creep past 160k.p.h as well..with the shit tinny sound coming from it. Bike used to go pretty well till got power commander added & dyno tuned...could it be anything to do with cams. Just lost. Any other ideas that could take to mechanic please. Cheers
I dont know fuel from cordial but mate of mine say's if he dont run caltex premium his 2009 fatbob pings like crap.
Scotty; How ya goin today. I disconnected & removed the power commander yesterday. Going to take bike for a blast on my next day off & c how it goes. Might try that spray bottle of water in the intake as you have suggested....a few people have advised me not to; So are you certain that this won't do any damage?? also how much spray & where will this carbon go.
