I have a 93 1200 Sportster with a troublesome 5-speed gearbox.  I have been told you can buy a completely assembled replacement gearbox cartridge.  Does anyone know if this is correct and if so  who is the distributor?

As in, jumps out of 3rd??????
Define troublesome.
They are an incredibly simple transmission, but with just a couple of weaknesses.
Baker do a complete 6 speed
Quite expensive I have heard

I was merely suggesting a common fault

Thanks for all the comments. I took the box out and after a few phone call found someone who really knows what they are doing with them. He pulled it apart and rebuilt it on Thursday afternoon. Just got to put it back in the bike this weekend. Haven't had a ride for four weeks so i'm getting pretty desperate.
