i went through Saturday about 11am, bloody carpark from 1 side to the other, Wynnum Rd ramp to the exit near the RBH, 18 minutes
yep.
Homer too.
Ahhh Trev,
Now I got it. I is a bit slow being from down in da deep south.
I detest rubberneckers They are world wide let alone being here in Aussie.
How long is ya tunnel? Must get on goggle and have a captains cook.
B.
That would be the same Rob,Burra, i thought he was going last Friday to have a look at the Pub, so looks like he decided on taking the job, what can i say, Bye Rob, see you when your home again, take care out there,
I thought it would have been a good idea to put thick windows in the Clem 7 so's when you get packed in like sardines...the dolphins and bull sharks can peer in at ya and pretend it's a fishes smorgasboard.
Only problem with that is you'd probably see uncle vito in his cement shoes swaying with the tides.
If anyone catches up with Skullsnflames, let him know the boxes are waiting for him.
I'm a fan. I've taken the car through the tunnel Mon to Fri mornings since it opened (coz it's free) and I've had no hold ups at all.
That's just after 0800hrs each day and it takes exactly five minutes at 80kph from the opening (off the M1 near the 'Gabba) to exit onto Lutwyche road just north of the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
Most jams I've heard of occur on the weekends - or maybe I've been lucky.
Tried it heading back last night and the biggest delay was all the usual crap Fiday night traffic leading up to the tunnel. But every tunnel experience to date has been 80kph every time.
Promised my boy I'll take him through it on the Harley - and that'll be as noisy as all F#ck!!
Yep gets loud in there (and hot), Stu took the Bones thru today, nearly got into 2nd gear (intentionally)!!! Made a few cans as as!!!!!! Was pretty slow for a sunday, thought you could get off to the breaky creek pub, maybe not!!
