Daly Waters Pub Run

    Calling on the NT mob.

    I'm going to do a run to Daly Waters pub to stir up the backpackers sometime this dry season. Date to be decided.

    It'll be an overnighter. I know we haven't got many NT members but it's worth a try.

    OK it's on. Saturday 28th August. Overnighter. (or stay Sunday as well)

    I'll be leaving from Jabiru with a few others and one in a Corvette. Would luv to meet the Darwinites at Katherine and JCFHH from Kununurra. I think we have a few in Alice that should come for a squirt as well.

    Hint....If your coming, call the pub ASAP to secure accomodation or take ya swag. (middle of tourist season)

    Currently no chance of rain......and we know that won't change  Day time temps between 29 - 34 and nights are around 7 -12 deg. A bit chilly.

     Winter visited here last night. Got down to 18!! Brrrrrr

    1200km round trip for me and Darwinites, 1400 for JCFHH from Kununurra and 1800km for any Alice mob.

    Anyway, blue skies, warm days, cold beer and backpackers ......are ya in or not?

    Commin upto Darwin from 20th Sep to 4th Oct ... hopefully with the bike. By the way used to live in Jabiru from 1982 > 1990. Might catch you round.

    Would love to go but just got back from isa and the 29th is the all ford day at mindle beach so next time.will try and get a group to-gether.Meet up with a couple from out your way biggest pair of ape hangers i have seen and his lady friend with the number plate blk-beauty,anyway how he hung on to that bike on the barkley with the wind,have a good time.Charlie darwin.

    Back from the ride to Daly Waters pub. Great ride, great weather, great company and a good time had by all. I'm stuffed!

    Photo's tomorrow. Didn't take many. Too busy having a good time.

    Missed this let me know for the next one i will try to make it up there from the Isa.
