Anyone done this? Looks like a fiddly job - am i missing something? Perhaps there is an easier way......but it looks like a %^$#^ to get to...

    BTW I'm putting in a DTT (TC88A).

Was a few years ago, but pretty much unplug the old module and plug in the new one. A little bit fiddly if i remember.

I do remember a cap screw that was frozen though, the brass threaded insert was spinning in the plastic !

Yep, brass thread was spinning for me! Got it all done last night, but very fiddly. What a stupid design....!!!

Left bolt, so damn loctited in, and no room to move, small allen key all that would fit, one painful eighth turn at a time.....

Right bolt, spun the threaded bit! Drilled into the side, into the threaded bit, (small bit), turned the bit around and used it to lock the thread in place. Still only just managed to crack the loctite!

For goodness sake Harley, do you really need to use that loctite crap on EVERYTHING????? These aren't shovels you know!!!

Oh well, it's done now. Rant over.

I know exactly what you are talking about. Crap design.
