Im 5'8 ish & I've got westerns on an 06 softtail and I HATE it...

I much prefer the stock Iron bars, BUT. - I rolled mine back in the risers and also adjusted the controls back down again. - Sit far more upright now. - Much better.

 I was very uncomfortable with the stock bars and intended swapping for 883L bars but have gotten used to them now. They are good for getting down low at speed and I feel more alert with that weird forward-leaning position.
