Howdy folks, im half gessing the answer to my question but havnt herd the latest, so, why apart from our stupid regs would we not be able to place a Boss Hoss in this country? i think they are a great piece of fast ridiculous technology and i really want one, i wud also like extra length in the wedding tackle and a million dollars but ill settle for a new Boss, they are now 6.2 ltr and u can throw sum Nos at em no prob and of course they go like shit off a shovel, i have ridden beside one thru Montana, sitting on about 90 mph on the old fatty, the old Canadian, hell he must of been 51, came up beside us and said " got ya camera on"  thumbs up, "yep" (350 Chevy, Stroked to 380 by Hemi with 3 kg Nos bottle) bounced it into first gear and pretty well tore the hotmix strait off the road,,,,,,, yep,,,,,, fucking gonski..........we taped it, awesome!!!............... so how do we get one, hundred, into this country??????????????mmmmmmmmmmmmm speed????? yea kind of fritening but amazing torque.......power to weight/ratio......................... apeefuckingdaze........... so Triumph have got a 2200cc sumthing thru customs care of the CE mark compatability 5 tick Aus standards mark thing so why not a 5.7 or a 6.2 ltr V8 monster that has the tick of approval in the leading modern world country,USA, i got no problem, Have you??????????? ( ive to go now ive been drinking an dreaming)

    Regards that fuggin Rat

There is (or was) a company in Queensland that sells 350 Chevy powered motorcycles. It wasn't Boss Hoss, but the bikes were the same.

UMMMMMMMMM nah 51 not that old im speaking from experience, i passed that stone cupla years ago, sadly, the mind is still yung but body a bit tired, i saw something in a bike rag a few years ago about chev bloks in frames i think on the Gold cst, "Viking" i think they were, dont no if they got far, probly a muny thing they didnt look as slick as the BS machines. Given that we can get the poket rokets in here from Japan and the other go fast machines like Ducati an Buell and Indian and Victory, there must be a bigger wedge to open the door a little further with no fuss for a Boss!!!!!!!! argggghhhh Melbourne yeah a healthy dose of mad ive seen there many atime, worked at Loy Yang for a bit and came to town for r&r the middle hotel i think, nuther story, mate of mine, from Chadstone way had a cupla scooters Trident and a laverda 1000 , gee they let them in here too???? and he saw the last two cylinders of a Merlin 16 i think, cut off and strapped into a frame on his way to Myrtleford rally, it couldnt be the same machine surely????????? Anyway im off to A merica in June will try an smuggle a Boss bak in me lunch box, wish me luck, cheers from that fuggin rat

John Harmon was building big bore Harleys long ago  120 cubic inch way back when men were men, all these Johnny come lately`s don`t impress me much, with the advent of cnc lathes and borers big inch motors are nothing new. The guy who builds his own with limited budget will always get my vote and respect.
