Mate,  I changed mine 3 months ago and no probs.   If you haven't already done it .... I would pull it apart again .. check for any exposed wires that may be shorting etc.  Before you reasemble, check if horn and hi/lo beam switch works before putting it all back together.    It worked before  you pulled it apart and you've checked fuses so it must something right in front of you>??   Take your time mate.  Cheers OF.

yeah checked the switches last night without the housings on and they are dead, horn dead which did work once housings were on first time and headlight still only worked on high beam so its got me stuffed switches seem ok and couldnt see any exposed wires and even if i did pinch a wire i doubt it would have been enough pressure to break a wire etc, so its rather frustrating cause im no electrician ggrrrr will check it all out again today and pull it all apart completely and re assemble and see what happens but im not expecting any results

Have you checked the wires for the headlight and horn to confirm if there is power in them.   If there is power there then there could be a problem with the switch's.  Are you using your original switches?  Did you change switches or just the switch covers/switch blocks?   I take it that the indicators work?

Mate I've been down this road before myself and had to call an Auto electrician and then felt like a dickhead as I had been looking straight at the problem all the time.

If your not sure it's probably best to have an Auto Spark  look at it   ..... be nothin' worse than than to have it playing  up later in the middle of nowhere!!

Good luck and let us know when you find it?  O.F.
