can you remove pins from connectig plugs to get through bars or do you have to cut wires 07 fxst

You can remove the pins. I did it with mine. There is a page on here somewhere that shows you how.

Personally I think it would be easier to cut the wires and rejoin after routing them through the bars. Shrink wrap around each wire then a larger one around the lot. I removed the pins from the connectors when I done my internal wiring on my bars and in the end it was more trouble than it was worth.

It might be, but I had to make a tool to get the pins out of the connectors, bent a couple feeding them through. And in the end if you have a good connection and use a Ohm meter to check for continuity then there is absolutely no difference between the two methods.
