First pic of my new bike

    Guys,had the bike about 10 days now and have finally taken a pic to share with you.It's a 2008 xl883 ,pretty stock except for having the baffles drilled out so she sounds great.Next step will be a new ac,I was thinking a SE stage 1 and maybe a fuel pack or similar .I would welcome any comments/suggestions from the forum.Can anyone from WA recommend where to take the bike for service/repairs/mods in the Perth metro area.

     Looks great Scott. Are the bars stock? They look a fair way forward but it might be the angle. I really like the 883L bars because they come back so far but I didn't think the XL883 bars were much further forward.

    nice scoot scotty same as my friends 883 hes done far few mods new bars,filter,pipes,tank lift kit,2"over kit on front etc it is in the sporty pics post

    Taffymarsden,I think the previous owner had a spacer put under them but I havent looked at any other bikes to be able to compare.As you say, the angle of the photo may be a factor

    Nice 883!

    Yr lucky to pick up something as near stock as you have. A blank canvas to add awesome mods!
