    Hi Guys 1st post and all so go easy.

    I have just got a new Street Bob and a TTS from M&M Cycle.

    Couple of things

    1. I just loaded up the AE176-002-B1 map and it says it is for a stock bike with an AC kit. 

    I'm going to get one in a few weeks - will this fuck anything until I get the AC?

    The bike is running so much cooler and better so it appears to be ok but is it just running rich because it doesn't have the AC?


    2. After a bit of a read on the forum it looks like I should have loaded QD176-002-B1(Active exhaust and intake) before AE176-002-B1. 

    But doesn't this over write all of the settings? or do you just mean copy the map values from AE176-002-B1 over the map values of QD176-002-B1 while keeping the active exhaust shit?

    If someone could help me get my head around this shit  thanks in advance.

    Scotty - thanks for the reply - I get it now - because the AE176 map doesn't alter those settings that the QE176 map does the settings persist...

    I put the original map back on the Street Bob tonight -just to compare the two - like night and day.

    The bike runs sooo much hotter - I can't touch the rocker cover now after a five minute ride

    Appears to be smother as well but the idle feels a bit off and not as smooth as the stock map may have to up the idle speed.

    Question - is it possible to view the original HD map to compare it against a TTS map - I just want to see where the changes have been made - its the easiest way for me to learn - monkey see etc...

     The original stock map is encrypted, so you can't compare, but one of the maps supplied with the TTS is for a stock bike ... you can compare your new settings with that one.

    ok got all my stuff as listed above, also got the BCT baffles I am looking at getting the pipes on first then I will do air cleaner and tts, any advice on maps (2010 FXDWG) thanks.

    got pipes on now looking to do the air cleaner and TTS my map should be AF176-002 right ? (after the other one to turn off active exhaust?)

    sorry wasnt that a typo dont I need the AE176 not the AF176?

    I have stocck pistons etc only sideshots and proformance machine air cleaner?

    Follow up: I have the AE176 on and havent done the Vtune yet. pops a bit on gear change and decel nothing major (my motard was a lot worst than this one is)

    Tried the af176 more popping on gear change and decel so I went back to ae176 

    My 6th gear idiot light s not working correctly tried both fixes (set wheel etc correctly (come to 2098 for fxdwg 180/60/17 32 66 tooth) stock was 2110 is that right (at least thats what is was on my bike reloaded stock map to check it), and also went down to 1.350 on ratio from 1.353 still no go what do you reckon? 

    it comes on now and again but not all the time, any ideas I dont really want my speedo out to much.

    Now got it on 1.348 I think havent been for a ride yet :-(

    1.348 or 1.346 does the trick on the 2010 bikes that have an issue. Since the transmission gear was changed on the 2010 models we see this happen on some bikes and not on others.

    update: done 2 vtune runs, seems to be better now still popping a bit but I will work on that, fixed the idiot light had to go down to 1.344 i think , now can i please just check something.

    once I have done the vtune all I have to do is blend files then put the PE and the AFR back to orig values? I dont touch the CLB front or rear is this correct?

    I am using 720 as CLB would this add to popping?

    update: did a thrid run today hit a lot of the area and when i joined files there was little change max about ten squares on each cyl, only few yellows around the edge.

    So i now have that loaded and will see how I go, then I will try to sort the popping I have an idea how to fix it I believe I need to decrease the AFR in the 20 column help file says decrease the 1750 - 3500 i think but looking at it plot while doing Vtunes it looks like its more 4500ish down to 3000ish, so once i have a feel for this map I will try to play with it a bit thanks.

    PS big hats off to TTS awesome stuff even an idiot like me can use it with ease.
