Hi Shed, I have them on my bike and find them good- replaced a set of SE pipes. Slight increase in performance over the SE's (according to the dyno) and the noise level is good - probably a bit quiet at idle / low revs but have a nice roar when u hit 4 grand (at least according to my mates). Quality is very good, as with all S&S products. I found a perfect pair (600 klms) on eBay for $300 in Sydney.

Have S&S spo on my Electraglide. Very good mufflers , nice sound but after having them on for over a year have encountered a slight problem with them. The first thing I noticed when I went to fit them was how heavy the things are. The prob I now have is that they are so heavy that they are cracking and actually breaking the rear brackets that hold the exhaust. This is epescially so on the left side. This is because the bike will normally turn more left than right and the muffler is so low that they bang on the ground. I have got around the problem by installing extra strength metal brackets to hold the mufflers on. Just be aware, bloody good mufflers, but bloody heavy compared to the standards.

Have a set on the Road King.

They have a sixties type muscle car rumble to them instead of a blat. Helps on long trips / touring.

Decided to go for the S & S as they are the same price as there main competitor and are made from polished stainless steel instead of mild steel and chromed which helps if you scratch them.

Apparently you can purchase different length baffles that are easily changed over but I'm happy with the present ones in my mufflers whatever length they are.

Hav'nt had any cracking issues with mine so far.
