Hi there. Tried various types of boots from shoes, sneakers, workers boots, military style, hitech, harley. I always worried about the protection and waterproof capabilities. Best investment I made was the Rossi side Zip up motorbike riding boots. High sides. Look good with jeans, (cuffs over the top, not tuck in), cheeky comfortable to ride and walk with, and WATERPROOF. Slip on and off easily and not too hot.

I have done PLENTY of klm with a good hiking boot. They are mostly waterproof, gortex and allow you to walk when you get to the place of interest. On special $90-100.

that's what ive been wearing for the past 3 years perthog.
When I bought the bike 3 years ago I was thinking I would have to buy a decent pair of boots but found an old (brand new) pair of work boots in the shed.
There was a bit of mould growing on them when I found them but scrubbed em up and I wouldn't swap them for anything.
