Hi everyone, how are you all doing? Hopefully you can all help me out with this. When i turn on the ignition on my 06 Supeglide Custom it pretty much straight away kicks in the alarm and immobilises the engine. It turns itself off after about 30 secs. I have tried my spare key to see if it was the fob but it does the same thing. Upshot is i cant ride the bloody thing. When i put it into transport mode i can start it normally and probably ride it. Any help would be appreciated before i have to mortgage my kids to get it looked at in the shop. Thanks in advance.

I followed the instructions for transport mode and it kicked over straight away. Weird.

Don't those batteries start their lifespan the minute they are made, not the minute you start using them? So, we never get full usage from them, since they might be sitting on factory/store shelves for months before being purchased.

The manual specifies "change fob battery yearly" . Mine are 2.5 years old and need replacing. Usually doesn't deactivate alarm at the moment, you have to start quick so the alarm doesnt go off after the 2 warning chirps.

Its an 06 model Superglide. Does not have the push button fob. Going to get a couple of batteries tomorrow see if that helps and if not going to follow step by step instructions on the the alarm probs. If that dont work then its of to the shop i think. Hopefully its as you say and either the Fob needs a bat or the alarm mode is arse about face. I will try the above and see what happens. Bloody annoying.
