OK, ya ole know I'm a newbe with H-D and yeah, love the bike gives me a H-Dick but the brakes are somewhat confusing - they never really let me know if they will stop me so I'm thinking?
1# 13" rotor up front full floating
2# 6 pot calipers (maybe PM or Brembo)
3# maybe up-date brake MC to radial (not sure)
4# full floating on the rear and aftermaket 4 pot
5# SS rear brake lines (front already done)
Am I on the right track, should improve the brakes enough to cover the $1500 outlay?
Anyone done this or something better?
Cheers
Poddy
Prices are from Fleabay sellers, maybe we could work our a group buy if enough people were into it? Maybe?
Hi Poddy, what model & type HD do you have?
just asking as one big disc with a lot of caliper has the potential to pull your front forks out of line, if you don't have a good fork brace.
some models you can get a dif fork leg one side and run twin front disc. my m8 has twin six piston race PM's with big floating disc's and could not stop his Top fuel Harley at over 320kph they are ok but not magic.
