Well, here it is, it's first trailer ride, i hope it don't get use to it, it's only 3yrs old. Maybe a heat sensor problem, but i ain't no mechanic. The minister of war and happiness reckons it's my fault, 'cause i had V&H pipes fitted, and the ridemax system. I never had any probs before. Anyway, it's been in the shop for 2days so far, no news is good news yeah? Well?

I went to pick up the bike, i was told it's ready to go, going like a freight train was the expression used. I hitched a ride with a local courier, an hours drive away to pick it up. I was told there was 4 EFI faults, moisture was the problem. Sensors where cleaned, test rode, backfired and stopped. Ridemaxx fuel system was removed, found to have moisture in it as well. The supplier was great, they replaced the ridemaxx unit, no questions. The bike was test rode and supposedly "going like a freight train". I recieved the phone call, "COME AND GET IT".  Left the work shop, got 2k's (guessing, 'cause now the speedo ain't working), it stopped. I got it back to the workshop, the dude had to drive me home, 'cause my bike ain't going anywhere. I ain't gunna mention any names "YET", we'll just wait an see if my bike will be going before next summer!!!!!!

I went AWOL from work today, couldn't wait, went and picked up the bike, man, what a difference a new VSS(vehicle speed sensor) does. It's a mighty huge coincidence that i changed the pipes and had the Ridemax fuel management system fitted, then the VSS shits itself. The Ridemax was replaced, it had moisture in the connectors. A new VSS, and away we go. I had to go to the pub to celerbrate the return of the Fatty. Thanks for the compliment Burraburra, it's almost finished, set of fournales and the front forks done will do it for now. Cam and some tricky parts later on down the track. Just stoked to have it back and going like a roadtrain
