New guy in Perth

    Gday fellas I'm Russ from Perth. I haven't ridden for about 10 years but the Harley riding Americans at work have got me fired up about riding again. Unfortunately as all the riding I did was off road I never got around to getting my license and will have to start the whole process again. Obviously it will be at least a year before I can "legally" ride a big bike again but I hope to find some good information around here on where to buy from etc... Until I get back on a bike I'm probably not much use to anyone though but I will endeavour to find more pictures of girls on bikes as that is extremely important.

    Really looking forward to getting on a bike again, really not looking forward to being stuck on $2.50 for a year though!

    Now the big question is, as Im stuck on 250 for a year do I buy a cruiser style 250 to get used to the riding position (only rode dirt bikes last time round) and possibly look like a nonce or do i get something less nonce like and have to adjust again when i upgrade to a dyna?

    ive put a few pics up in the toxic pics thread, ill keep posting as i find them!

    i work away so ill only have 6 months of it at home anyway!

    Gday Russ welcome to the site. Did you know that as soon as you pass your test for a 250  you can get your learners for an open class and ride whatever you like so long as your with another rider with an openclass.

    i had thought about that, but as i dont work when im at home im heading all over the place during the day when most people who could shadow are working. it might be worth doing if the right bike appears at the right price though
