Went for a ride today with the missus and we stopped in at the Oakbank for lunch.
Its beween Grumpys and Woodside in the Adeliade hills.
Not much from the front but as they say, never judge a book by it's cover
Very friendly staff and a big covered deck out back with outside chairs made from 44 gal drums or you can eat indoors or on the back lawn under the willows.
Would highly recommend another stop there for a feed.

Buckland, Tasmania. 45 minutes north of Hobart. Publican was serving beer to the locals in tea cups (complete with a tea bag) when we walked in. Bit weird but glad to see they had a sense of humour.

Palm tree's, big deck on the edge of the road, and a view over to the river. Bloody lucky they serve a cold beer, or in my case a bourbon. Tarwin Lower hotel.
