    Hi all,

    well i was planning to try some SE 1.7 ratio rockers, as a mate in USA sent me a set out to try, but gave it to Cow to do for me and i did not have the clearance at TDC. could have used them but was a bit close, and Cow felt if i missed a shift. i could have valves hit. so leave them till heads come off next.

    but thought i'd mention this as could help some get a few horses. stock rockers are 1.65, a mate with an engine dyno was developing a V8 for his own car, i was watching him try different ratio  rockers he went from 1.6 to 1.7 gained HP & TQ was a good gain for an easy change, then he went to 1.8 he lost HP at higher rev's so went with the 1.7 this was EFI useing a Autronic ECU he did mapping. but can't use car idea's in Harleys. still i thought i'd mention this as could put them into a stock late model motor might liven it up. cheaper than cams. these SE are not roller rockers look like stock rockers. probably increase lift by about 20 or 30thou ( have to work it out)

    ps for me it still turned out good as Cow put my bike on dyno to get a base line, we went up to richest needle from the SE CV51 tunners kit and that little 95 inch twinky liked it, got 2MPH faster in the speed traps sydney drags. i road like a girl but the speed tells me it can run high 10's now with a high ten rider LOL. so i got the speed i had with s&s 625 cams but i'm useing andrews 55G cams. i like to do things different. to see what i can get.
