Taking my bike in for it's 1600k service on Thursday, called Peter Stevens today but they were booked for four weeks, so I booked it into Hyperformance Cycles down north, they managed to get me in on Thursday, they also give you the option of synthetic oil for an extra $30, all up they quoted me $310.  Has anyone in Adelaide had any experience with Hyperformance Cycles/SA Choppers?

Haven't used Hyperformance however, my services are all $290 including synthetics and crome oil filter....just food for thought.

I didn't think about that chrome oil filter would be nice, I'll ask them when I take it in. Not sure if being the first service they slug you slightly more?

You should get your first service free, I'd book in and wait, a few extra K's wont hurt things too much. Put a bit of pressure on them, ask for a call if the get a no show/cancellation etc.[

That way you'll have $310 for more goodies.

    Greg,
I actually bought my bike privately believe it or not. I saw it advertised on ebay with 235km on the clock. The guy bought it new and never rode it, then sold it to me 6 months later. Was one of the best deals I've had, got it for two grand less than new with 18 months warranty.

    Scotty,

Thanks for the feedback, being the first service I'll let someone else do it. Might look into doing my own after that. Service manual would be great, do you have it in PDF? If so send to my address.

    Cheers,

I paid an extra $30 for mobil 1 from what I've read I'm pretty sure that will be better than HD oil.

Got my bike back from first service, cost $285 in the end with Mobil 1 V-Twin oil and chrome filter. From what I've heard I'm pretty happy with the price. The Mobil 1 has definately addressed some of the top engine noise I was getting with the stock oil, so that's good. Should also run at a lower temp from what people have been saying which is good as the summer months are coming and I plan to thrash the thing.
