    Hi all,

Have read in a few posts here that 2010 RK's have the cruise control and ABS as standard - Frasers is trying to tell me the cruise is an option and have to pay for it.

So whats the deal? are they trying a bit of a scam here?

For fuck's sake, my 2008 RK came out with cruise as standard so why would HD go backwards?

Sounds like someone is pissing on you and saying it's raining...!!!

Stick it up'em and go somewhere else.

All right, thanks gents - stuck up north until wednesday, I'll go and see him when I get in and have a bit of a chat. He may have just fucked up the details.

Its interesting to note that I had many warnings to not deal with Frasers over the last few years, I'll reserve judgement until after I speak to them, but it looks like they may have been right.

    G'day Skin,

Nah, no answer until I get back to Perth on wednesday.

I haven't dealt with Frasers before, and wasn't going to - I had a deal lined up with Great southern HD down in Albany, but I rang Frasers just to see what sort of deal they would offer. They came in over a grand better on my trade in, 500 better on the bike and bits I wanted and I didn't need to travel 400km's to do the deal.

Great southern's has a great reputation over here, but I suppose the fact is Frasers are in the metro area and with the volume of sales can probably shave a bit more fat off.

The bloke I'm dealing with at Frasers seems OK, friendly, but I don't know if he's been doing this job long - maybe a bit unsure of what the deal is, so I'll wait until I meet him face to face and see what he has to say.

I certainly didn't get a free 4 point dock and back rest - all up for that and the usual stage 1 bits was around 3 grand. He wants another 500 or so for cruise control.

I don't want to bag 'em out, but the fact is alot of folk over here are pretty negative towards them. And that is being polite.

Thanks for all the advice gents, got it all - cruise & ABS, gratis, 4 point dock, SE hi flow, SERT, V&H slip on's etc.etc.and all the wank they give you.....no arguments, friendly and reasonably quick. Maybe they've taken on board all the complaints and changed their attitude...

Oh yeah, and its black. Big black and friggen beautiful eh!

    Cheers, Stumbly

Congrats mate, you'll love it to bits. Hard to stay off them, 12,000 Km's in 6 months and counting.

hahaha! too right mate, picked it up this morning and spent the rest of the day on it. Handles alot better than i thought it would - goes where you point it, effortlessly drops into corners, brakes smoothly with a lot more feel than the Dyna and wifey likes the big seat and back rest.

All in all very happy, just need to change a few minor bits and all done. I will post photo's in the next day or two...

LOL! yeah, well, after looking at a few of the sweet bikes on here maybe just a few more bits. And then maybe some cams. And true duals. And 103 cubes. Or 110......

    And and and.....

The RK is the "King of the Road" as far as I'm concerned.

And as HogBag has said, adding Bling is a drug and there ain't no cure...
