    Hey cobber

Wanna get urself a True Trak if ya want it to handle nice... plenty of info on here.  Footpegs scrape if ya lean it so pending on your legs you might have to move em.  Progressives are shit in my opinion I put them in mine but no good until you go heavier oil with those back shocks.  Recommend Silkolene 20w Synthetic and make your spacer in the forks longer to compress the spring heaps.  Once again plenty of info on here if you do a search how to set em.  Stix has racetech and gold valves which if you wanna have it sweet would be worth the $$.   Fill your tail light up with silicon and foam as water will piss in it when you ride in the wet.  Take the tail light off you will see the holes.  Front brakes are ordinary when you first ride it IMO so pull the calipers while new and squeeze the pad right in, lever em out with a screw driver to get back on the disc , light bleed for air bubbles and you will stop a train. Brake fluid does not fill the back of the seal and creates an air bubble.  Dealer no nothin about it.  Tyres are OK but I am not the man to test em to limit so they do me.

Ya pipe should be good, air cleaner good, use the tuner the bloke who tunes ya bike recommends (its not the tuner its the tune) plenty of info on here on that fuggin topic!

Other than that mate my FB has been sweet ..........

    Happy ridin!! Jam

so far I've had no issues with the tyres...... but I don't ride like Stoner....much ........ my SE pipes have touched a couple of time in tight bends or after hitting a decent bump mid bend....put a SERT 2 in & the SE air filter with nice results.... what ever ya do ya miles ahead already by simply buying the best Harley ever built ....

Brake is just soft and grabs late which some blokes like..... personally like it to come on quick.  Guess its just personal preference mate see how ya go..... TTS seems the goods for all the self tuners here so you are good to go........  The bike is good mate so reckon you will be happy!  Cheers Jam

    Hey TulingaMick
I have recently sold my Fatboy - the Fatbob is also going to be my next harley - V +H 2 to 1 pipes, Stage 1, S/E Air Filter, TTS etc
I was going to see how it handles on the way from Nelligen to the Bodalla pub, then make up my mind about suspension.
I have a price on a 2010 Bob in Vic for 27 going to get it soon as I can, might see you on the road.

Hey Pisspour - I'm wishing I did get mine last year now, does your V + H pipes scrap easily, and do you ride it like Turlinga Mick?
If I ever get away from work and buy a Bob - Turlinga Mick and I might get lost on the way to W.A
I was the 1st of my local Mates to buy a Fatty - years ago now - then one mate got one - then 2 more got em - now there a Dozen of them scooting about on Good Harleys and I'm hating life - saved the penny's though! I'm ready to go and going to come out swinging.

Turlingamick have you seen the post on headlights in Dynas, easy to put both lights to low beam.

I know the Clyde well, I live between the foot of the mountain and the Nelligen Pub (which has been sold) at last.

    Hey Firey

No exhaust dont scrape V &  H 2-1  but footpegs do  (after market switchblades)

As for the head lights never did like the frogs eyes (almost put me off buying it) but have now got a 6inch single on the way from U S along with some 6 inch risers with slight pullback to relax my little arms

The factory seat is bloody good but I got hold of a streetbob solo seat as well (streetbob guys get rid of em to take pillion) the solo is hard compared to bob seat but drops you down and forward a little make the bike handle heaps better for me

mick, ikon 12.5 inch on the rear and progressive springs (not harley) on the front with 20w fork oil. Check your engine alingnment as both my streetbob & my mates fatbob were way out, look under vibration in these threads, i shimmed out both engine mounts and had motors aligned out buy approx 10mm on the top engine mount made a shitload of difference. Six piston aussie made calipers for the front will haul her up. cheers wombat

ps , if u dont wanna run that bub let me know
