1974, You can also get away with 1 mirror on r/h side, no  brake light for front brake, and a higher decibel limit for noise.

If the motorcycle was originally manufactured with indicators, then regardless of the year of manufacture, YOU CANNOT LEGALLY REMOVE THEM

No mention of that in Vic roads regs.
