I have a mate with a 113 in a Street Glide. The Screamin Eagle lifters have a known problem - the lifter failed, broke both chains, destroyed the right case. He rode it out of the show room brand new as a 113.

No warranty because HD say the SE 113 is for "race use only". Man was he pissed.

I went with the S&S 124 because it comes with a 1 year unlimited km warranty. If you ever see a pic of the stock crank you will realise that it belongs in the shed in a box, not in a high performance engine. The S&S crank is built like a bank vault in comparison.

I would steer clear of the Jims 131 as it has chain drive cams as well.

If I was going to do my motor again I would buy a brand new SE case which is Timkened for $490 US and fit the S&S 124 kit, with a feuling or SE cam plate. The S&S 124 kit comes with 640 grind gear drive cams, S&S anti pump up lifters, ACR heads with triple valve springs, forged 4.125" bore pistons and forged 4 5/8 stroke crank. That way you just put the 96" in the shed and build the 124" around the SE cases.

For pics of my build have a look at:

There is a pic there of the stock crank.  Scary.
I have tuned my motor up since I was last at WSID, I am confident that there is a mid 11 pass with the bags and screen on. My bike was 477kg on the weighbridge with me on it.

Whats the biggest kit, after market or HD available that doesn't require the case being bored?

I plan to do an engine up grade in the FAR distant future when there are a few more $$$$ at my disposal, bits and pieces until then keeping in mind the future plans.

I have decided I dont like the idea of increasing TQ & HP on my stock 09 crank .... too many reports of them being light duty and shit quality, given that I understand the cases will need splitting to do something with the crappy crank so am not against going to the bigger cubes and having the cases bored to suit.

Can anyone recommend a full kit that comes with a new stronger balanced crank and heads to suit, my biggest concerns are keeping reliability, rideability and a decent engine life.

12.25 was with the old tune, about 16:1 AFR. Since then the tune has quickened things up nicely, I am sure there is a mid 11 there now. I also have a shift light now, on that fastest run I still hit the limiter. Thats with the screen on.

My bike was 1060lb on the bridge. 60 foot times were 1.9 sec, so i was launching her soft as I was worried about the belt. Rt was 0.432 so that gives you some idea of how often I get to the drags..

Who should I get to tune it? I cant find anyone with 2 wideband sensors and a dyno in Sydney or wollongong.

Great guys thanks heaps, at the mo my bike(07 dyna)is running the short shots with 204 cams but still sounds tinny for my liking, i think hilly mentioned i could wrap them with fibre glass (the baffles) would this make it sound better,(ie,deeper, louder quiter)hope not quiter lol,and if so is it easy to do and where would i get it from and around about how much, again thanks for all the help.

I'm happy with the results i have mate, i only have 95inch twinky and they work for me, buggered if i know about american builder m8.

i like supporting SE products as they support the sport i like. drag racing is the only way i know to test them out m8, we only have a 110kph limit. i thought you got to the track yourself?

scotty also i did not take out perfect stock TC lifters, mine had the case hardening going south, the Jim's i have have outlasted my stock lifters.  jims are nothing special just like travel limiters, but thats all i could get at the time. now all your mates are jumping on ol bobby woods new lifters, makes you laugh hey.

    cheers
