    Hey Graham,

Frasers reckon they've already tuned the SERT for the air cleaner and slip ons, even though the slip ons weren't fitted yet,or do I need to re-map again?

I'm not used to all this new fangled computer stuff.....

Stumbly - If Frasers have fitted a map to suit your new pipes and air cleaner then it should be ok

Stumbly, I have the 08 RKC and am a happy camper. A few things I have done that have made the bike better is the highway pegs, which you have gone with. Great on long hauls.

I'm not a fan of heel and toe shifting so I removed the heel part. There is a little chrome cap you can buy to cover the exposed shaft. This also gives your left foot more movement backwards.

Another personal touch. A lot people have trouble with the bars, ie you have to reach forward a bit too much. A few of us have changed bars to Heritage Style, they are back about an inch and a touch higher. I took a while to get used to the "small change" and almost put the originals back on. But now I am used to them and they do help with the posture.

Just done a 4700km trip and I bought 2 Airhawk Seats, they are fantastic. They help cushion out the little jarring potholes that over a long day in the saddle helps. You will have to get a rear suspension pump, and set them to the recommended pressures for different rides. Essential especially 2 up and or loaded.

Hope you are enjoying the bike...TC
