Just ordered an Almax immobiliser series III security chain and squire lock from the UK.

Great to deal with and will be very happy to have the extra security.

Cost me $350 AUS delivered ( bloody pounds ) but i figure its worth every cent.

    check em out!!

Our latest chain is the ALMAX IMMOBILISER SERIES III; it has NEVER been bolt cropped. By anyone. Ever. The only damage was to the bolt croppers.

Which chain do YOU want protecting your bike?

Squire MC4 Chain (RiDE Best Buy)?
Hand Bolt cropped in approx 63 seconds by Zanx and his amazing pantz.

Luma Kit Solido Duo (RiDE Recommend)?
Hand Bolt cropped in approx 35 seconds

Abus Granite City Black X-Plus (RiDE Reccomend)?
Hand Bolt cropped in approx 8 Seconds

    Abus Granite Extreme?
Hand Bolt cropped in approx 12 seconds

    Oxford Monster?
Hand Bolt cropped by Peter Walker of M.A.G (who had never cropped a chain before) in 3 seconds

    Oxford Boss?
Hand Bolt cropped in approx 22 seconds

    Kryptonite Fahgettaboutit chain?
Hand bolt cropped in 42 seconds.

All of these chains were also cut with the hydraulic bolt croppers at the NEC International Motorcycle & Scooter Show in between 8 - 12 seconds.

So its been a while but i got the squire lock and chain and its heavy but about the best thinig ive ever seen for a secure home lockdown lock is bomb proof chain is seriously heavy duty.
dunno if id carry it around with me maybe depending where i was going.
but it is def worth the cash.
    cheers

What I do is use an insurance company, the way I look at it if they want it they will take it no matter what obstacle is in the thiefs way.

It is garaged and when I go riding most of the time I can see the bike.

May be a bit of an inconvenience if the bike is stolen but I have a car to get around so thats ok, just have to wait till its replaced.

I think after your second claim they'll tell you to go away and so will alot of other insurers.Happened to a mate of mine.
