Never again will i bitch  about the price of a ticket ,, ok   true i will but what about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A director of the Finnish telecommunications giant, Nokia, has received what is believed to be the most expensive speeding ticket ever.

Anssi Vanjoki, 44, has been ordered to pay a fine of 116,000 euros ($103,600) after being caught breaking the speed limit on his Harley Davidson motorbike in the capital, Helsinki, in October last year.

    Harley Davidson motorbike
Mr Vanjoki is a Harley Davidson enthusiast
Police say he was driving at 75 km/h (47 mph) in a 50km/h (31 mph) zone.

In Finland, traffic fines are proportionate to the latest available data on an offender's income.

Mr Vanjoki has announced he will appeal, because his income has since dropped.

Sounds more like a new form of "tax"... read "revenue collection".

BTW, how come we don't get elephant stamps or a gold star or something when you go through a random breath test, pulled over for an inspection or whatever, that way you could say, hey, I got these 5 elephant stamps, I would like to redeem them for the fine.

sort of like loyalty points when you don't get it wrong... (which for me would be hardly ever), but its the thought that counts!

Years ago , they used to have what was called a related earnings system in the uk , Basicly it worked like this the higher the tax bracket , the higher the tax you payed but wait for it , if you went on the dole that was directly related to what tax you paid , I went there has a 20 year old never worked in the uk but had been working earning big money here , paid big tax here and went there to see the familly i did'nt know , being british born I could go on the dole and fuck me , went in and seen them , and they had a rescipical agreement with aust . They enquired how much tax i payed .

Cut a long story short 9 fucking brilliant months i spent on the dole getting 90 quid a week , when has a worker 60 was the best i could get .Pity they stopped it I would off spent 6 months working here and 6 months partying there for the rest of my fucking life

I think you may find they have similar laws.
