Hi everyone just wanted to know if anybody has come across this problem with their 08 nightstar,It seems to miss fire and splatter on cold start until it reaches normal operating temp this could take 10 minutes or so.

Once norm temperature has been reached it seems to run fine.

Could some one shed some light on this fustruting problem??

The first thing I would do is take out your air filter and check that it's not clogged then take out your plugs and check that they are clean.  Both of these things are simple and will rule out a simple fix.  

If both the above are good I would then get your EFI tuning checked.  Have you had mods done to the bike?  The tuning may need adjusting to the mods.

Hi Sal, Do you use the choke as you should let it idle for a around 2 minutes before you leave then push in a bit every minute or so until revs come up

Have you done a stage one upgrade yet. That is changed air cleaner  & exhaust pipes.
