Ray's Cycle Shack in Salisbury has built up some pretty mean drag Harleys, and he certainly knows the insides out of a built Harley engine.

They have built some rather fast Buells, so should be able to tickle your bike a bit.

What are your plans for the Sporty?

    Hi Guys n Gals
New to the forum but have been browsing for a while, I purchased a 2nd hand 09 sporty 1200 custom in December (bought from a bike shop in NSW), I'm very happy with the bike, a Feb 09 model with only 8500 k on it when I got it now up to 11500.

I have noticed a bit of popping on deceleration, normally only afer a bit of a blat throught the hills, but I am noticing it more and more, after looking at various threads this seem semi normal, bike has after market S&S slip ons but does'nt have a hi flow filter or had an ECU remap or after market ECU (I'm looking at doing that sometime), today I cleaned out the throttle body (was some muck in it but not what i'd call bad), I can't confirm an exhaust port/header leak but am thinking of replacing gaskets anyway?
I've also had the engine light set a couple of times, code was P0505 which indcated an IAC problem which lead me to clean the throttly body, this has'nt helped with the popping but may have helped with a high idle problem (again after a hard run).
Maybe a tune up Scotty, if your interested?
    Cheers
    Dave

I tried looking online and in the pages for Ray's Cycle Shack but couldnt find any contact details.

If they have a dyno I would love to contact them. If anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated.
