Anybody from Perth had experience using Frasers or Super Cycles to map PCIII's?
The PCIII site lists Super Cycles as local dyno shop, but have the Street Bob booked into Frasers this Friday!!! Thought I would see if anyone had any experience....
Thanks Crasher.... for $130 bucks I will take it to Frasers.... cannot be much different to the current map.
Only worry I have appears to be some different vibration in the low rev range. Not really noticed until I put the new pipes on.... not sure if its related. New to HD's so I'm still learning.
karl... thanks for the info. will let ya all know how it goes. not keen on paying someone to learn, but would like to see how it pans out and then compare the maps.
Okay... comments on this forum appear close to spot on... Frasers are learning and that be with a capital "L". Might head down Bunbury way and check out the people there. I did get a reading on the dyno that was max power 74; torque 83; afr between 13 and 14 (around 13.6 between 3.5k - 4.5k), but they did say that they cannot confirm these settings and are waiting for recalibration on their new dyno setup.
karl... truthfully, they did bugger all. Problem is I am too diplomatic. I was in there yesterday and was asked how it was running... said okay, certainly starting better.
Hi guys,
ok pardon my ignorance, I am new to HD and new to EFi. So you guys are talking about when you upgrade pipes and air cleaners, you need to get a new ECU tuner right. So how do you know what Tuner to buy if you go to source your own parts. Because i am thinking of getting for my fourty eight the Vance and Hines RSD Tracker 2 into 1 pipes, with a Joker Machine's sportster high performance air cleaner and then getting the Screamin eagles super tuner Pro. Am i off the mark? Any ideas guys? I was going to get this all fitted down at Deus at Camperdown.
Any advice is appreciated...
Cheers, Si
