    Would you be better taking it back to the dealer? That is really piss poor quality control.

    It obviously must have left the factory that way,if the mounts are ok and you have never dropped the bike or had any work requiring the engine removal.I am interested though that the only thing that you noticed was wallowing in fast turns.

    Most  of the touring type bikes that I have seen with non aligned engine/trans also exhibit uneven front tyre wear on one side of the tyre,due to the front wheel being pushed,and have also found that some exhibiy a front wheel shimmy when letting go of the bars,even at speeds as low as 10kph.All rectified by making sure of the alignment and making sure to check steering head bearing adjustment.

    Ahhhh

    That explains a lot then,if the motor has been removed.It doesn't take very much misalignment to make a lot of difference at the swing arm mount.And as you say,it may have come out of the factory slightly misaligned,and having it removed and refitted without checking alignment has just exacerbated the problem.
