Meant to post this earlier but the weekend is nearly upon us so i thought i shoot a heads up.

Last Saturday was a largish cop presence on Gorge Rd, a lot more than usual.

Sunday arvo, i decided to go for a squirt up to lobethal to see a mate, about a 3rd of the way just past athelstone, before cudlee Creek, the cops had the whole area cordoned and pulled over everyone going in both directions.

Rego checks, license checks, warrant checks, RBT, drug test even checked priors etc.

Just passing on the tip as it may be on again this weekend.

I reckon it was about 1:30 pm when i headed up.

With today's technology, you'd think as a motorcycling community we could SMS the set up of these things within minutes to a wide group, so we can all avoid this BS.
