Good to hear mate. Too many people buy harleys just for 2 months of the year. Good to see ya are no Captain Fairweather.

Im the same - RAIN HAIL OR SHINE! Obviously prefer shine.

I had a 45 minute ride home the other day in the pelting rain and I was fucking soaked, frozen, my face felt like I was being jabbed with needles (small rocks when the big drops fell) and I couldn't stop laughing because it was just so fucking crazy. I actually got home and instead of going in I went for a quick ride around town and even at 50kmh the rain stung    I've done it many times (riding in the rain) but usually (out of town) I'll have a mask/bandanna, or even a full face on; I think I'll carry one in my pocket from now on....

it only sux if your heading somewhere, if it looks like I might get wet then I pack dry clothes in plastic.... heading home not a problem. Got pissed on heading into Adelaide last November. All the gear remained dry, Lei had full wet weather and was dry and I had a soggy leather jacket, but mostly dry (had wet weather pants on except boots had a couple liters in them...... gotta love it. Only issue coming down the hill into Adelaide is bloody cage drivers slowing to 40km/h on the freeway.... at that speed me sunnies start to fog :(

I didn't have a car for about 8 or 9 years and worked in the city.......rain, hail or shine, I had no choice

These days, if i have a choice and it's raining I'll take the car but if i get caught out in it then you just go with it.

Was nice yesterday....afetr a pretty warm day we had a monster storm late in the afternoon (in Melbourne) and on my way home from a job I was at a set of lights in the trendy suburb of Fitzroy. There at the lights was a lovely lass on one of those cute little motor scooters.....tI was absolutely caning down and all she had on was a pair of slacks and a singlet..........very nice

I always like to avoid it, but i it comes, apart from the sting, I don't mind it. The experience betters your skills. I agree with Miker, I don't go looking for it but if its there, it is, and once you're wet you can't get 'wetter'. The thing that suck most about the rain is when it comes along, you wish every chrome piece on your motorcycle would just disappear.

Picked up my bike on Thrusday 18/02, as I was sitting down signing all the papers and other stuff, we watched as the rain rolled in, and I said to Brett ( Orm Snell Harley Davidson) " Mate you better throw in one of those wet weather rain suits, I have a feeling I'm going to need it. First ride on my new ride, in the pelting rain. Been ride in it since Thursday.
