  Hi guys.

  I am a uni student from Malaysia and have been in WA for the past 1 ½ years. Will be going back to Malaysia for good at the end of 2011, after completing my study.

  Came across with this web forum about few months ago, after googling in from the web. It is all due to the local tv add that aired the new Iron 883, that had actually put my breath away. I had a sleepless nights since that (yeah right..) and started searching for more details about the bike. The search then leads me to this forum.

  What a great infos that this forum have! Keep up the good work guys.

  Oh yeah.. by the way. I could not wait till I get back to Malaysia to own one. Just picked up my new 2010 Iron 883 from Frasers Motorcycles, Perth in 1st Feb last week. Prior than that, contacted it’s  salesperson (Anthony), paid a visit to the dealer.. but no demo model available, anyhow paid a deposit and walla…  now I am a proud owner!!!

  This my first Harley and oh boy…oh boy…oh boy… what a great sense of feeling that I have. Still smiling and grinning ear to ear.

  But one thing is for sure….. riding my Sportster alone sucks…..

  Thank you ya all for the warm welcome.
  
  Only managed to do weekend riding as I am busy with my uni stuff throughout weekdays.
  Just managed to clock over 150km on the bike.
  
  Will be visiting the dealer again tomorrow as the salesperson owed me a discounted HD fingerless gloves.
  Hope to meet other WA riders there.

  Well, couldn't make it to the dealer yesterday. Only managed to ride in northern suburbs.

  Since I'm enrolling in a "Partially head Damage" (PhD) program here, having a Harley kinda giving me a sense of medicinal healing for my body and soul... (yeahhh rightt!!!)
  
  After 18 months of study.. you bet, I sure need one, ELSE it's going to become a "Permanent head Damage" thing...
