I have my aux light on most of the time so the cagers can see me. But was wondering what is the purpose of these lights? Are they fog lights like on a car or just to light the road a little more?  I have noticed cars in front of me dont like them a whole lot so was wondering what the real purpose of them is meant to be?

Good question Hoodaman, I was also wondering the purpose of these lights. They only work on low beam, and you are right, cars coming towards you don't like them so you turn them off, so what's the point.
A bloke here in town has an Ultra and he had his changed so they work on High beam only, which makes more sense.
I hpe someone can en "lighten" us........TC

For some reason on mine, when i put my high beam on my spootties switch off.At the Last service i did ask the Question and he told me thats how they are wired up , Not sure about that but i perfure them to be on at all time. Safety reasons
